Chapter 26

The Heap, new, delete, and What Goes Wrong

Manual memory, so you can read old code.

Part 2

This chapter needs a key

Everything so far has been handed to you and taken away at a closing brace. This chapter is about memory you ask for and must give back, why it exists, and the three ways it ruins programs.

You'll build: Break the heap three ways. Leak on purpose, delete twice, and use memory after handing it back.

Part 1, chapters 0 to 21, is free and always will be.
